Doctor in Business Administration (Ph.D. in Management) completed with distinction (Mention Très Honnorable avec les Félicitations du Jury) at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC); Master in Sociology from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris; Graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo Law School and in Public Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP/FGV). Director of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/EBAPE). Professor at the São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP/FGV). Professionally, he has worked as a consultant specialized in applied research, working with companies such as Aneel, CHESF, Furnas, Eletronorte and Eletrosul. He has also worked in the US as a consultant at the Center for Applied Research (a research center created at the Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania) and in Brazil as a consultant at McKinsey & Co.
